Here are some tips for driving traffic to your other articles.

A lot of writers are using Xomba,Bukisa and Twitter to drive traffic to their revenue-sharing articles on other sites. Both have advantages and disadvantages,here’s a method I use when I’m not distracted.

Create an article (or identify one that’s already profitable) that you’d like to direct traffic to. For example,let’s say “Plastic dog collars”

Create a Xomblurb,which is a very short little post on your Xomba account that says “Check out this article about dog collars made of plastic.”

This creates an inbound link,but since Xomba has such pathetic PR mostly all it does is generate a little adsense income for you when someone searches for dog collars made of plastic instead of plastic dog collars. With luck,they may click on your article,even if they click an ad,you get paid for it.

Write up a quick article for Bukisa,perhaps “choosing plastic dog collars.”Bukisa pays $3.42 per 1000 pageviews,but unlike other pay-per-view sites,you don’t need to hit 1000 views in order to get paid. Be sure to link your first article.

Create a Google Knol about plastic dog collars (link to the article that has highest earning potential,probably not Bukisa or Xomba)

If you have a personal website,use an Amazon widget to create a page full of plastic dog collars.

Create an eHow article about “how to buy plastic dog collars”and use the resources section to link to your other work and your amazon links and the shopping page

THERE- that’s the secret. You have just spent 15 minutes researching (or not) plastic dog collars and 15 minutes created one high quality article,a 5 minute blurb about said article,a 15in shopping page for affiliate sales,a 10min Google Knol about the topic which directs readers to your other work and a 10 min Bukisa article. If you have a personal story to share about the topic,go ahead and use that story in your blog,too. Just don’t forget to link it.

Some eHow writers are copying and pasting their eHow articles directly into Bukisa. One of the ladies in my downline has brought in over $200 in the past 3 months with this technique.
